Does the Kombat UK Patrol Boot have a side-zip
No, this is a traditional lace-up boot. While side-zips are great for taking boots off quickly, this model features strong nylon laces and bronze eyelets instead. This traditional design allows you to adjust the tension all the way up the boot, giving you a highly secure and customised fit around your foot and ankle.

Are These Boots Waterproof?
These boots are water-resistant rather than fully waterproof. Because they use a half-leather, half-nylon construction, they can handle light rain and damp conditions well. Can I Polish or Bull these boots?
Yes, but only on the bottom half. Because the upper section of the boot is made from heavy-duty nylon, you can only apply boot polish and achieve a high-shine "bull" finish on the leather toe and heel areas.

Do they have a steel safety toe cap?
No. While they do feature a steel shank (a rigid plate inside the sole that supports your arch and stops the boot from bending the wrong way), they do not have a protective steel toe cap. They are built for agility and comfort, not heavy industrial safety.
