The latest addition to the Bladerunner range of anti-slash, anti-bite, scratch and cut resistant clothing. Their SAFE-PRO long sleeve v-neck T-shirt utlizes the very latest technology in UHMWPE materials offering higher levels of protection than before for the wearer. Provides increased protection against cuts and slashes from all types of knives, machetes and bladed weapons up to ANSI level A5, the equivalent to EN388 2003 levels 5 and level E of EN388 2016. To accomplish this higher level of protection Bladerunner have used a thicker 290GSM material.

Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethelyne or UHMWPE for short is classed as a super plastic material. In practice it is a very soft velvety material which has been engineered to be exceptionally light but still strong enough to protect from knives, scratches, bites and cuts, with a tensile strength stronger than steel it acomplishes this with ease.

This material is made up of 50% Polyethelyne, 30% Polyester and 20% Cotton and is machine washable with similar colours on a cold, gentle cycle.

BITE PROTECTION: This item offers level 2 puncture resistance in accordandance with EN388: 2003 which means it will also offer protection against bites and scratches.

STAB PROTECTION: Please be aware that this product is cut proof and slash proof and is not stab proof.
