More and more often we were finding that officers were carrying a second pair of handcuffs either inside their vest pocket or in a second pouch taking up valuable space on an already packed duty belt or molle vest. Based on our belt mounted H7 the MODBH7 is made from tough 1000d nylon and holds two pair of standard rigid handcuffs one in front of the other with heavy duty press studs to keep them secure. On the front we kept the utility pocket, great for keeping a pair of nitrile gloves or mini first aid kit in and on the reverse a 50mm wide belt loop providing superb stability and compatibility with duty belts up to 60mm wide.

Great bit of kit! It’s perfect for frontline response or neighbourhood policing roles and takes two sets of rigid cuffs with no dramas. I swear by it and I’m excited to get the high vis version of it now, too!
